My blog
Hi, I'm Jihwan
My idea of design is that design should be not only visually attractive, but it also should be functional and useful to people. It should deliver positive experiences in the end. The ultimate goal is to design a product that provides an easier way of life for people.
During my time at Mozilla, I had the pleasure of collaborating with engineers, product managers, and other designers to develop fundamental features for our browser users. One of my proudest achievements was leading the end-to-end process for the Firefox Translation feature on desktop. This feature received over 4 million requests within two months of its launch, without any promotions, and initially supported only 10 European languages. Another significant feature I developed for Firefox users is Picture-in-Picture, which allows users to multitask while focusing on their primary tasks. It became the top media feature among browsers, highlighting its success.
I am always on the lookout for new opportunities where I can contribute my creativity and experience to solve user problems, whether through visual designs or strategic solutions. I aspire to grow as a designer, inspire others, and provide simple, effective answers to complex challenges.
